Times Help
FAQ
Does Times work with Google Reader?
Times' unique approach to reading feeds uses a completely different model than that of typical feed reading software, such as Google Reader. Instead of simple feeds and folders, Times has pages, columns, feeds, and numerous customizable user settings. Unfortunately, the two are simply incompatible on a fundamental level.
However, we still consider wireless syncing an important feature, and have exciting plans in the near future.
How do I drag articles to the shelf?
When dragging articles to the shelf, try dragging horizontally instead of vertically. Dragging vertically will simply scroll the column view.
How do I change the default categories/pages?
Tap "Edit" in the top right corner of the window to enter Edit mode. A "+" button will appear next to the page bar for adding new pages. To remove, rename, or reorder a page, make sure it's selected, then tap on the page name once more.
Can I change the ordering of feeds within a column?
Yes, you can change the "Priority" option in a feed's settings panel to affect the ordering of that feed within a column. However, note that feeds with badged articles get bumped to the top automatically, so they don't get lost!
How often does Times refresh?
Times will automatically refresh each time it is opened. While Times is already open, it will refresh every 10 minutes.
